Piedmont Alliance for Triad Healthcare (PATH)

MISSION: PATH serves as a collaborative advisory council to advocate for and further develop the healthcare workforce to meet the current and emerging needs of healthcare employers in the Piedmont Triad region of North Carolina.

The PATH collaborative serves 12 counties: Alamance, Caswell, Davidson, Davie, Forsyth, Guilford, Montgomery, Randolph, Rockingham, Stokes, Surry and Yadkin.

VISION: A robust healthcare workforce meeting today’s needs and tomorrow’s challenges.

MEMBERSHIP: PATH is employer-led, with other members representing workforce development boards, educational institutions and others involved with health professions in the Piedmont Triad. Non-member partners are also welcome to participate in PATH.

PATH's primary purposes are:

  • to identify healthcare training needs and demands within the region;
  • to seek means of increasing the healthcare workforce to meet workforce needs;
  • to support career pathway development for healthcare careers;
  • to foster exemplary, accountable healthcare education and training programs.

MEETINGS: PATH meets every-other month on the third or fourth Thursday from 3:00 to 4:30 p.m. at the Piedmont Triad Regional Council in Kernersville. Additionally, committee members convene by conference call periodically to work on their projects.
