Services to Employers

Business Solutions Team members help employers find and keep qualified applicants through the following services:

Recruitment and Screening

When you’re ready to hire, we’re ready to help. We can conduct customized screenings and help you determine which application method is best for your company. We can also post job openings to NCWorks Online and various websites with you or on your behalf.

Assessments

Assessments assist employers in identifying suitable candidates for the job opening. Assessment types include career readiness, soft skills, critical thinking and problem solving, and industry-specific. Check with your local Business Solutions Team member for specific assessments available and whether any fees apply.

Job Profiling

Job profiling identifies job responsibilities, required qualifications, advancement prospects, and the initial hourly pay or salary associated with the position. Contact your local Business Solutions Team member for more about this service.

Workforce and Business Intelligence & Labor Market Information (LMI)

Your local Business Solutions Team member can provide your business with county-specific, regional, or state labor market information (LMI) showing the availability of qualified workforce to meet certain business expansion needs, or determine competitive wages to attract desired job candidates.

On-the-Job Training

TriadWorks offers opportunities for qualified employers to significantly reduce the initial cost incurred when hiring and training new employees.

Expansion/Downsizing Consulting

Business Solutions Team members are engaged with colleges and economic development partners to assist businesses with their expansion, relocation or downsizing needs.

HR/Business Solutions (Templates and Forms*)

We help our region’s small employers ease their administrative burden by providing a range of Human Resources forms and templates, including an employer handbook, offer letter, and criminal background check form. See the “Employment Forms” page under Businesses.
